ABOUT THE TOM BASS PRIZE

The Tom Bass Prize celebrates the human form and its influence on today’s sculptures. It is the only prize for figurative sculpture in Australia. The Prize was created to honour Tom Bass AM (1916-2010), one of Australia’s pre-eminent public sculptors.

It is an acknowledgement of the lasting impression Bass has made on the civic landscape in Australia.
